Purpose of the website
Fjordreelcacts provides general educational information about fjord wildlife and ecosystems. It does not provide navigation, weather forecasting, emergency response, veterinary advice, legal advice or permission to enter land or protected areas. It is not a booking service and does not guarantee wildlife sightings.
Conditions change
Species occurrence, seasonal timing, access, hazards and regulations differ among locations and can change. Content may be incomplete or contain errors despite an effort to be careful. Check current information with the relevant authority before acting. Examples of real places illustrate ecological context and are not route recommendations or live reports.
Field safety and wildlife protection
You remain responsible for planning your activities, judging your capabilities and following applicable laws. Cliffs, tides, cold water, unstable shorelines, ice and weather can create serious hazards. Do not enter unsafe terrain or approach wildlife on the strength of this website. Use qualified local support when appropriate.
Respect closures, land access conditions and wildlife protections. Never feed, pursue, handle or disturb an animal for identification, photography or a field record. Minimum legal separation is not a guarantee that an encounter is harmless. Increase distance whenever needed.
Illustrations and identification
Illustrations are simplified and conceptual. They are not measured diagrams, navigation charts, comprehensive identification plates or verified species distribution maps. Similar-looking silhouettes and incomplete observations can lead to misidentification. Record uncertainty and consult reliable specialist resources when an identification matters.
Local tools and messages
The contact composer prepares plain text in your browser. It does not transmit messages, establish a monitoring record or notify emergency responders. Clipboard and download functions depend on browser capabilities and settings. Review any text before sharing it and keep your own copy when needed.
Do not send unlawful, abusive or misleading material, confidential information about others, or precise sensitive wildlife locations without a legitimate purpose. Sending correspondence does not guarantee a response or publication. Requests to reproduce a submitted photograph or substantial observation should be agreed separately.
Content and reuse
Unless otherwise indicated, original site text and original illustration material are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may link to the website and use material where permitted by law. For substantial republication or commercial reuse, request permission at [email protected]. Names and marks belonging to other organizations remain theirs.
External sources and independence
External links are offered for reference. They do not imply endorsement, affiliation or a partnership. Fjordreelcacts does not control external content, availability or practices. The website is not affiliated with the public agencies, research institutions or conservation organizations named in its guides.
Availability and responsibility
The website and tools are provided without a promise of uninterrupted operation or error-free results. To the extent permitted by applicable law, responsibility for losses arising from reliance on general reference information is limited. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
